Lynn S. Gilbert, PA-C

Lynn Gilbert, PA-C, has worked as a physician assistant at Virginia Orthopaedic since October of 2003. She specializes in osteoporosis prevention and treatment, disorders of the neck and spine, fracture care and other general orthopedic concerns.

Lynn received her undergraduate training in Exercise Physiology at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She then moved to Roanoke to attend Jefferson College of Health Sciences and obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She later completed a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies through the University of Nebraska Medical School.

Lynn is currently very active in the Roanoke and New River Valley communities with osteoporosis prevention and treatment. She has given many lectures at local nurse education meetings, long-term nursing facilities and community events. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Jefferson College of Health Sciences.
